Hi, I’m Naomi — and this is the blog I wish had existed years ago.
I created Success and Simplicity in March 2025, just after I was rejected by Emirates for the second time — this time for being “too old.” I’m 26.
I know.
Too old… at 26.
Let that sink in.
But rejection didn’t break me — it redirected me.
I’m a South African English teacher by profession. I love what I do. I love helping people grow, learn, and express themselves confidently in English. But if we’re being honest — and this blog will always be honest — teaching alone doesn’t always pay the bills, or fund the life I dream about. Like many of you, I’m constantly exploring new ways to increase my income, simplify my life, and level up — without losing myself in the process.
That’s what this space is about.
